John Kovaleski was born small and naked in Niagara Falls, NY and grew up (as in "got larger," not "matured") in Spencerport, NY.

He has "done time" at an ad agency, a consulting firm, a newspaper and a big, faceless corporation. He also produced the feature film "Johnny: Nobody Said He Was An Angel."

In 2003 his comic strip Bo Nanas was unleashed on an unsuspecting world by the fine folks at The Washington Post Writers Group.

Also, he is taller than he is wide.
